PARIS

It’s impossible not to fall in love with the gardens of Paris in fall. In the 6th arrondissement, the Jardin du Luxembourg is blanketed with loose, crunchy leaves. Meanwhile, just outside the Musée du Louvre, the Jardin des Tuileries is draped in an artist’s palette of orange and yellow hues.

Walking along the streets of Paris, the Haussmannian buildings are flanked by auburn trees. In the distance, the Eiffel Tower is framed in fabulous foliage.

Further outside of the capital, the gardens of the Château de Versailles boast a royal autumn display. Bathed in gilded light, the opulence of the interior migrates outside for fall.

PROVENCE

Down in the south of France, this notoriously sun-soaked destination is illuminated in a palette of warm colors. From the cobblestone streets to the rocky hills, Provence is positively magnificent in autumn.

The vineyards of Provence have been stripped of their grapes, harvested for the season. Soon after, the leaves themselves transform into shades of juicy red and yellow before falling to the ground to make room for new fruit to grow.

HAUTES-ALPES

For the most breathtaking views of the season, the Hautes-Alpes is the place to be. The rolling mountains and peaceful lakes are a tranquil haven of autumn beauty. Any nature lover would be remiss not to pass through this sublime region at this time of year.

NORMANDY

Last, but certainly not least, MFCH Founder Sharon Santoni captures the magic of the season in her local French countryside. Backroads and walking trails through the Normandy region turn from emerald green to golden yellow in a spectacular show that feels like falling under a crisp autumn spell.
