Located on the grounds of a 17th-century château, Marqueyssac is one of France’s most famous gardens. With their signature cloud-like topiary domes, these outstanding hanging gardens have spectacular views of the Dordogne River and its valley. You can spend hours losing yourself in its maze of 150,000 pruned boxwoods. During high-season months, the walkways are candlelit by night with music and light shows. A remarkable sight and unmissable stop in the Périgord.
