Farmhouse in Provence

two issues of magazines in a box

Influenced by trips to Europe as a teenager — and later backpacking the region with her husband — Connie Eely fell swiftly in love with the charms of France. With a mind filled with tantalizing memories of Southern French villages lined with cobblestones; vendor stalls filled with crusty breads, juicy olives and decadent cheeses and rolling fields of lavender, she opened a shop called Farmhouse in Provence. Located in Langley, British Columbia, it was designed as a “chic version” of a French weekend market, offering specialty goods and decor for the home, kitchen and garden. Think hand-carved olive wood utensils, charcuterie boards, potted plants, soaps and lotions, crisp linens, rustic furniture, jewelry and more. And as you can see, a great place to buy My French Country Home!

Oak and Linen Home

a vinyl floor mat with brasserie de paris on it

Nestled in a historic 1890s coach house in Arva, Ontario, lies Oak and Linen Home. With its opening, Lisa Barron — whose taste was influenced by life in Europe for many years — nurtured her long-term love of textiles (specifically linen!), colors, patterns and interior design. She sources her vast selection of home and decor accessories from suppliers and artisans both far and wide, but one thing remains consistent — all have a French flair, and oak and linen are at the core. Decorated as a home, when you walk in, you feel as such. Classic, French-inspired beauty with a personal touch! A great place in Canada to buy My French Country Home Magazine.
