The countdown begins to the big ball drop! For the final celebration of 2023, your fashion and beauty choices should go out with a bang. Whether your plans include a Champagne-filled soirée, a fancy dinner out, or even just a cozy night celebrating from the comfort of your home, why not ring in the new year in style?

For a Champagne-filled Night Out

The feature drink of the evening is, of course, bubbly! Take inspiration from this festive libation and accessorize with sparkly clothes and gold jewelry. As you dance from night ‘til morning, have fun with necklaces, rings, and bracelets that bare motifs of the sun, moon, and stars to complement a shimmering ensemble that recalls a starry sky.

Make sure your skin is also glowing when you raise a glass to a bright new year. We recommend Voilá shimmer body oil – a French lady’s staple – to achieve skin that will look just as smooth and shiny as the Champagne in your coupe.

For an Elegant Dinner on the Town

While dancing until midnight may not be on the evening’s agenda, perhaps a decadent steak or lobster dinner is! Get all dolled up for the last meal of the year with a striking jumpsuit and statement bracelets. Pair it back with chic, unexpected accessories like luxurious gloves and a silk square scarf that look and feel just as fabulous indoors as they do on the way to dinner. Tie it all together with a bright red or pink lip (click here to see our 7 favorite French lipstick brands).

On top of a killer outfit, turn heads in the restaurant with a memorable scent – we love a solid parfum that you can take on the go like the one above from Rose et Marius, or one of our other favorite French perfumes – discover them here.

For a Calm and Cozy Celebration at Home

If you prefer to start the year fresh and well rested, a quiet night at home is perhaps the best road to take. However, that doesn’t mean that you can’t do it in fashion! Soft fabrics like velvet and cashmere are just as fabulous on the couch as they are out on the town. We love this cashmere V-neck from J.Crew and these velvet trousers from Sézane.

You could also put a luxurious cap on 2023 with a cashmere-like cape from a French Atelier paired with sumptuous suede slippers from Volubilis Paris. Throw on a pearl necklace and turn on the home movie theater with a bowl of buttery popcorn. Then kick off the start of the year with energized skin following a nighttime skincare routine with natural French beauty products and a sound night’s sleep in a chic silk mask.

No matter how you choose to spend the final moments of the year, make sure you feel magnifique while doing it.
