The rolling hills of Provence in southeastern France are gorgeous at any time of year, but nothing rivals lavender season. Heralded for its delicate fragrance and beneficial properties, lavender has lent itself to soaps, honey, desserts, olive oils, cosmetics and more for centuries.

This “purple gold” grows in many areas of the world, but nowhere in such abundance as in Provence. Experiencing rows upon rows of the vibrant purple blooms – organized in breathtaking symmetry and swaying in the gentle wind, is a truly indescribable experience.
