Welcome to our monthly series: MFCH Staff Favorites!
Every month, the members of the My French Country Home team will share a recommendation for their favorite thing in France right now.

Buying flowers in Paris is one of life’s simple pleasures — a ritual so woven into daily life that it feels as natural as stopping for a baguette on the way home. A good fleuriste becomes part of your neighborhood routine, and once you find yours, you tend to stay loyal.

The city has no shortage of flower shops, and yet each one manages to feel entirely unique. A lively corner store with blooms spilling onto the sidewalk, a design-forward atelier preparing bouquets for hotels, a beloved neighborhood address with a personality as distinct as its quartier — there’s always something new to discover.

This month, our team shares the addresses for flower shops in Paris that we return to again and again. If you’re planning a trip to Paris, we hope this list gives you a reason to seek out a bloom or two of your own.

Maison Vertumne

Recommended by Sharon, MFCH Founder & Editor-in-Chief

Maison Vertumne is a stone’s throw from Jardin des Tuileries. Clarisse Beraud and her team work daily to source the most beautiful blooms, and supply bouquets to hotels, and private homes in the quartier. They also offer floral atelier and classes which are fun and allow guests to leave with a beautiful bouquet to take home.

If you’d like to learn more about Clarisse’s work, take a look at the video we filmed with her a few years ago. This is one of my favorite videos and reminds me how much fun it was to join Clarisse at dawn at the wholesale flower market and then make a bouquet with her in her store.

Mantequilla

Recommended by Nicola, MFCH Magazine Writer & Editor

I first discovered Mantequilla, on rue des Pyrénées in the the 20th arrondissement, while looking for ideas to transform my balcony. And while I came for the expertly layered compositions that spilled out from the sidewalk terrace, I stayed for the vibrant arrangements of cut flowers and eclectic vintage finds inside. Founded by childhood friends Manon and Mathilde, who grew up in the neighborhood, the airy space feels personal, poetic, and joyfully curated — an address that celebrates beauty and locality while fully embracing the quirky energy of this dynamic quartier.

Mantequilla — Spanish for butter — was one of the first words the pair learned during a year studying art together in Colombia. It’s a detail that stayed with them, soft and sunlit, much like the aesthetic they’ve since created. Shelves brim with effortlessly cool vases, while tables overflow with creatively composed bouquets alongside curated plates, glassware and vintage lamps. It’s a space designed to be explored slowly, where the eye keeps wandering and discovering something new. Even when it’s closed, I regularly pass by on my dog walks for inspiration. One thing that stands out is their commitment to sourcing French flowers. I find their prices very affordable and the flowers to be very high quality.

Beyond the boutique itself, Manon and Mathilde extend their vision into event design and floral workshops, which they advertise on their Instagram, @mantequilla.paris.

Ipomea

Recommended by Sarah, MFCH Subscription Box & Boutique Manager

After five years living in the 18th, one place I return to again and again is Ipomea. It’s one of those flower shops that never feels the same twice, with stems that shift beautifully with the seasons and something new always catching your eye the moment you step inside. Buckets overflow with a mix of classic blooms and more unexpected varieties, all arranged in a way that feels effortless. I go for the beauty and the prices, both hard to beat.

Even now that I live outside of Paris, I will still make the trip back to Montmartre just to pick up flowers from them. I always leave with my arms full, a big smile on my face, and people stopping to admire my flower loot.

L’Histoire d’une Fleur

Recommended by Jessy, MFCH Customer Service Coordinator

L’Histoire d’une Fleur (Story of a Flower) is a little shop in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris. The area is busy but the array of flowers which spill out onto the sidewalk never seem to deter the Parisians from getting to their terraces on sunny afternoons.

What I enjoy most about this florist is that the storefront feels casual and approachable, making a weekly purchase feel like a simple pleasure. Bouquets are arranged on wicker stools among bunches of loose stems for custom arrangements. Parisian flower shops often bring a soft perfume to an otherwise concrete jungle, but The Story of a Flower lends a bit of color to the landscape in a gentle and enjoyable way.

Maison Ciero

Recommended by Alizée, MFCH Travel and Tour Manager

I’m quite obsessed with having fresh flowers at home. It’s the easiest way to make a space look good without overthinking it, especially in the living room. In Paris, I always end up going to Maison Ciero. I like that they only work with seasonal French flowers, so it’s never the same, you go in, see what they have that day, and build something from there.

It’s not too “perfect” or overdone, which is exactly why it works. You just pick what you like, and it somehow always looks right once you get home.

L’Arbre Bleu

Recommended by Olivia, MFCH Brand Strategist, Writer, & Editor

It may not be the grandest flower shop in Paris, but my neighborhood fleuriste always has exactly what I’m looking for — and never fails to impress with its seasonal creativity. A small corner store in the 5th arrondissement, L’Arbre Bleu doubles its floor space by letting the flowers run out across the sidewalk and wrap around the building façade. (There are probably more plants outside than there are inside the shop…)

What I love the most about this address is how much effort they put into their displays. In France, most businesses don’t bother dressing up for holidays — aside from Christmas. L’Arbre Bleu is the delightful exception. Giant pumpkins and whimsical mushrooms for Halloween, oversized roses and mylar heart balloons for Valentine’s Day, bunny-shaped hedges and colorful eggs for Easter — the works! For someone who lives for seasonal décor, this little florist delivers the magic every time.

Atelier Ko

Recommended by Maddy, MFCH Magazine Writer & Editor

This tiny florist, found on a quiet side street in the heart of the Marais, is the definition of doing a lot with a little. I recently purchased a flower frog and have been experimenting with more sculptural, minimal arrangements at home, and this is exactly the sort of place you come to for that. Curved lilies, striking orchards, pale grasses… the selection is beautiful and varied, led by shape, texture and mood.

There’s both drama and restraint to be found here, and as much attention is given to styling each purchase before you leave as to the meticulous arrangements on display throughout the shop.
