With this collaboration, Diptyque — famous for its refined scented candles and fragrances — revisits its origins as a boutique for objets d’art and affinity for unique items and rarities.

At its core, it is an homage to its founders — Yves Coueslant, Desmond Knox-Leet and Christiane Gautrot notorious lovers of travel whose worldly explorations brought back objects, fabrics, scents and design ideas from other cultures and distant lands.

The whimsical collection which offers exquisite candle holders and vibrant tableware such as glasses, carafes and dishes — mixes artisanal traditions with eclectic modern touches. The pieces feature intricate, hand-painted designs and vibrant colors, channeling memories of Mediterranean escapes, evoking vibes of alfresco dining; and conjuring the scents, sights and spirit of luxurious, laidback summers spent down South in Italy and Provence.
