At the heart of the Bon Marché’s display, renowned brand Souleiado has set up shop on the first floor, creating a display that immerses its Parisian guests in scenes straight from Provence.
So if you’re visiting Paris this summer, be sure to drop by and head upstairs for some southern charm and vibrant offerings. Shop amidst the scent of lavender and enjoy the unique experience of browsing Souleiado’s iconic prints and designs in a setting reminiscent of a quaint Provençal village café.

Introducing Souleiado at the Bon Marché
Souleiado’s distinctively patterned fabrics have long been an emblem of Provencal elegance and heritage. Founded in the heart of Provence in 1939, they have been drawing inspiration from the region’s vibrant culture, artisanal heritage and natural beauty ever since. The name itself refers to the moment when the sun breaks through the clouds after a rain shower, and their collections seek to capture the sweetness of life in such moments.
Their pop-up in Bon Marché is filled with their distinctive spirit. Famous for their printed cotton fabrics, which are rooted in Provençal tradition dating back to 16th-century, you’ll find a selection of saturated colors and intricate patterns across their women’s and men’s-ware collections, as well as their home décor offerings.
With lavender bunches overhead and olive trees in large pots strategically positioned — creating a sleepy feel in the normally bustling department store — their display invites curiosity and reminds us of the joy at living at a slower pace, the essence of Souleiado and the mediterranean lifestyle.
Bon Marché Summer Exclusives
As well as exclusive items from Souleiado, such as their floral tote bags, card games, ruffled petticoats, and the Adiana yellow quilted bag — the exhibition also features popular names from the south not normally available in Paris.
Among the highlights is Maison Empereur, the oldest hardware and drugstore in France and a Marseille institution. Find their shelves filled with useful and aesthetic objects, including small tools, drugstore items, kitchen utensils, toys, and traditional clothing, each piece laced with their family know-how, passed down since 1827.
A truly tantalizing selection of tableware, embroidered linens, fashion accessories and hand-painted ceramic pieces, here are a few of our favorite pieces from the exhibition to help narrow down your selections in store!
