Steps from the Louvre, facing Pont-Neuf and overlooking the Seine, the majestic Cheval Blanc hotel sits inside the recently reopened La Samaritaine – an iconic department store and Art Deco landmark.

Cheval Blanc Paris marks the fifth property in LVMH Hotel Management’s ultra-luxe Cheval Blanc portfolio – “a brand of exceptional Maisons” – that boats properties in Saint-Tropez, Courchevel, the Maldives and St. Barth’s.

For the interior design, the prestigious group called upon the renowned architect Peter Marino, who spared no grand detail in the decor of this five-star destination, which could easily pass as a palace.

A historic setting with a contemporary spirit, Marino outfitted the newest Cheval Blanc in the style of a Parisian residence, employing a light color palette with cream tones and earthy-colored furnishings. Each piece is tailor-made, each object thoughtfully chosen, each detail carefully considered.

At every turn, you’ll find rich materials and textures, custom artworks and other curiosities, all working together in elegant harmony. From the luminous, woven metal entrance gallery to the spa to the mesmerizing, gilded bronze details in the lobby, Cheval Blanc Paris is a bold and contemporary Kaleidoscope of gold.

All of its 72 accommodations (26 bedrooms and 46 suites) boast unobstructed views of the city and the Seine; they feature marble bathrooms complete with tubs, terraces, bay window reading nooks and amenities scented with the hotel’s signature fragrances created by Dior’s perfumer, François Demachy.

Gastronomic Delights

Cheval Blanc Paris features multiple enticing eateries. The gourmet Plénitude, found on the building’s first floor, is headed by 3-starred Michelin chef Arnaud Donckele, who formerly worked at the group’s Saint Tropez property. From his broths to his vinaigrettes to his creams and veloutés, you’ll be taken on a multi-sensory journey you won’t soon forget.

The 7th-floor contemporary brasserie, Le Tout-Paris, embodies the authentic spirit of an Art Deco bistro, featuring a long, marble cocktail bar and an extraordinary 7,000 square-foot terrace that offers panoramic views “from the Eiffel Tower to Montmartre and from Notre-Dame to Centre Georges Pompidou.” Open to hotel guests, wandering tourists and businessmen and women alike, Le Tout-Paris offers savory and sweet bites and drinks around the clock but will be known for its generous breakfasts of brioche and pastries fresh from the oven, homemade hot chocolate, regional delicacies and more. Sundays are reserved for “Dimanche à la folie,” a festive brunch that brings together families and friends to celebrate the end of the weekend with a little indulgence.

Find Milan in Paris with Langosteria, also on the 7th floor. Here, cuisine is art, and you’ll have your pick of the finest and freshest Italian ingredients on offer. Think red tuna carpaccio, smoked eggplant, linguine with blue lobster… all complemented by an impressive wine list with over 900 references.

Or head to Limbar for “daily delights and nightly elixirs.”Lead by the vision of heralded pastry chef Maxime Frédéric, the establishment – where even the simplest rustic loaf or flaky croissant is taken to the next level – uses herbs, vegetables and grains from the kitchen garden. Fancy a tipple? Look no further than the intricate concotions of master mixologist Florian Thireau, who isn’t afraid to mix, emulsify, sear, chill, roast, freeze or char his ingredients for the perfect cocktail.

Fun for All Ages

children's area in hotel

Designed with family trips in mind, Cheval Blanc Paris created The Carrousel – a sailor-themed, fantastical and stimulating children’s area that offers immersive experiences, interactive ecological workshops and other fun, educational actives like treasure hunts and puzzles, so kiddos can make their own memories (and parents can have a break of their own!).

Well Being at its Finest

After a day of traversing the city, seek refuge in the luxurious and serene Cheval Blanc Dior Spa. Indulge your senses in one of the six intimate suites (each with a white onyx bathroom) for a signature or bespoke treatment, then relax in the restorative sauna or marble Hammam. Afterwards, you can head to the Rossano Ferretti Salon for an inspiring beauty experience under the savoir-faire of the coiffeur master Rossano Ferretti himself.

After refreshing, tune up at the Fitness Studio, which even offers yoga, and find another haven of serenity in Cheval Blanc Paris’ infinite swimming pool, outfitted in shimmering, artisanal mosaics by artist Michael Mayer.

“Cheval Blanc beats to the rhythm of Paris, embraces its emotions, captures its spirit.”
