When the days are gray and the temperatures low, itโs always a good idea to bring some color indoors.
This winter bouquet was made quite easily, using an antique soup tureen, with a little chicken wire to help balance the stems.

To make this bouquet we used:
12 stems of old fashioned roses
2 large stems of eucalyptus
3 pale pink ranunculus
3 pink and green ranunculus
5 sprigs of blue thistle
4 long sprigs of cream wax flower
3 sprigs of pink viburnum still in bud
First position the branches of viburnum and eucalyptus to define the outline of your arrangement.
To achieve this more open lightweight look, always leave some of the long branches showing over and around the heart of the bouquet.
Next position the roses, thistles and ranunculus to create a relaxed heart to the bouquet. Donโt forget to cut the stems to different heights.
Finally add the long stems of wispy wax stems to highlight the bouquet and check for any gaps where you can pop in a last rose branch.
