In the words of our Editor-in-Chief, Sharon Santoni: “A pretty table is more than just flatware and flowers, it is a message to my guests: ‘You’re welcome. I’m glad you’re here; let’s enjoy this meal together.'”
For our first episode of MFCH’s brand-new tablescape series – which will showcase a diverse range of beautiful table settings, from intimate dinners to grand celebrations – Sharon visited the Domaine de Primard, a stunning 18th-century private château turned luxury 5-star hotel and restaurant that opened this past June in the outskirts of Paris.
The estate, which used to belong to famous French actress Catherine Deneuve, spans 173 acres in the Eure Valley and features 30 rooms and 9 suites, romantically landscaped gardens, a park with centuries-old trees bordered by canals, an orchard, a farm and more.
In our first video, watch Sharon chat about the property’s fascinating history with the current owner, Guillaume Foucher, and a create a warm and welcoming tablescape in Primard’s private dining room.
From miniature centerpiece bouquets to a single bloom at each setting, no detail is spared. Perfect simple elegance!
