That is why, to make this region’s discovery a little more accessible, we have created a week-long MFCH Tour to Le Gers this May. And luckily, we still have a few spots left!
The MFCH May 2024 Tour to Le Gers in southwest France will be magnificent. The itinerary will include a careful mix of exploring the region, meeting talented and inspiring artists, touring a magnificent garden and discovering the local traditions in gastronomy.
The tour will be accompanied by Camille Chamignon, a charming young French chef who is about to publish her first cookbook, and who will share the secrets of authentic French home cooking. Camille will cook for the guests of the tour each day, and those who wish will have the opportunity to get involved in making the meals and learn how to prepare them at home.
The luxury accommodation will be at la Manufacture Royale de Lectoure, a breathtaking small hotel, created from a former tannery, that sits at the heart of the small town of Lectoure, where there are ample opportunities to shop for antiques. Guests on the tour will commence their adventure when we collect everyone from the airport of Toulouse with our private chauffeurs. The short flight down from Paris is simple, and we will advise the best flight time so that our guests will all travel on the same plane.
Each day of the tour will include an excursion to the surrounding villages and points of interest. Guests will have the exclusive opportunity to meet some very impressive and surprising artisans and artists, and discover the beautiful landscapes of the Gers.
