Now, in a fitting tribute to her 30-year career, Delacroix is returning to the heart of the city that has long been her muse, for a much-anticipated art exhibition in Paris at Galerie Cyril Guernieri.

An Artistic Journey That Began in Childhood

Fabienne began painting as a child and held her first exhibition at just 10 years old. Her professional journey officially launched in 1995 with a solo show in Boston, and it has since blossomed into a career that spans continents. With more than 30 solo exhibitions to her name and over 2,000 paintings sold, her work has been showcased in prestigious galleries and museums across the United States, Canada, Japan, Bulgaria, Slovakia and most recently in France at MIDAN (MusĂ©e International d’Art NaĂŻf de l’ĂŽle de France).

Despite this international success, 2025 marks a long-awaited milestone: her very first exhibition in a Parisian gallery.

A Parisian Dream Come True

From June 26 to July 12, Delacroix’s latest collection will be on view at Galerie Cyril Guernieri, located on rue Visconti in the heart of the Latin Quarter. This venue holds deep personal meaning for the artist, who spent her formative years studying nearby on boulevard Saint-Germain. In fact, the historic café Les Deux Magots, which features prominently in her newest painting, was part of her daily walk — and remains a cherished subject in her work.

This latest painting of Les Deux Magots was created in honor of the café’s 140th anniversary and recent renovation. Rendered with Fabienne’s characteristic attention to light and emotion, the piece captures the café’s timeless nature and cultural spirit — a place where generations of artists, writers, and intellectuals have gathered.

The opening night promises to be just as enchanting as her work. On June 26th, guests will be treated to a live performance by renowned mezzo-soprano Malika Bellaribi, who will sing a few opera arias from her forthcoming album and recital, offering a moment of grace as her unique voice resonates in the gallery’s vaulted cellars.

The Poetry of Everyday France

Fabienne Delacroix’s artistic world is steeped in harmony, warmth, and romanticism. Her paintings transport viewers to a refined vision of the past — not bound by history, but inspired by it.

As she puts it, “I have little concern for the notion that sometimes defines art, namely the search for truth. My painting is not a faithful, historical representation of the Belle Époque, far from it, even if I do document it extensively. There are plenty of anachronisms and inaccuracies, but I choose them because they make me smile.”

This upcoming Paris exhibition will feature not only iconic scenes of the capital, but also vivid depictions of Normandy, Brittany, and the Côte d’Azur, each infused with light, serenity, and an abiding love for France. From the gentle rhythm of rural life to the bustling cafés of Montmartre, Delacroix’s work invites us to see the world through her eyes — tender, whimsical, and always beautiful.

Beyond the Gallery Walls

In addition to her original artworks, Delacroix’s poetic vision of France can be enjoyed in everyday ways. Her paintings adorn postcards, calendars by Pictura, and exquisite hand-cut wooden puzzles from Michèle Wilson, available throughout Paris at boutiques like BHV Marais and Brentano’s American Bookshop. She is also the author of a bilingual book, 36 regards sur la Tour Eiffel, prefaced by Myriam Eiffel, great-great-granddaughter of Gustave Eiffel.

And while 2025 marks three decades of professional success, Fabienne shows no signs of slowing down. Following her Paris show, she will return to the city where it all began — in Boston — for a solo exhibition this December at M. Fine Arts Galerie SOWA, bringing her artistic journey full circle.

An Invitation to Step into a Painted Dream

Fabienne Delacroix’s work is more than a celebration of place — it’s an invitation to pause, to dream, and to delight in the gentle beauty of a world that values grace, joy, and harmony. This exhibition at Galerie Cyril Guernieri is not only a Parisian homecoming, but a heartfelt thank-you to her collectors, admirers, and all those who continue to find happiness in her luminous little scenes.

As she reflects, “If the sight of one of my little paintings makes people happy, I’m delighted, because I’ve achieved my goal.”

I’m delighted to be celebrating the first 30 years of my career with My French Country Home, and I’m very excited about the next 30. It seems to me that everything is just beginning and that the best is yet to come. – Fabienne Delacoix
