When you’re in Paris and on the hunt for someone special or simply want to treat yourself, there are a plethora of places with fresh, floral delights on offer.

Read on to navigate 7 of the finest florists around the city.

Eric Chauvin

Eric Chauvin’s mission statement is to “convey emotions, provoke desire and spark passion.” Step foot into his famous namesake shop in Paris (he also has two just outside the city, in Neuilly-sur-Seine), and you’ll see he manages to do that. Dubbed the celebrities’ favorite florist, Chauvin’s arrangements have been requested time and again by some of the most prominent fashion houses in Paris and the Opéra de Paris. Elegant and chic, his bouquets consistently convey pure romance; think long-stemmed roses; sweet, aromatic jasmine, stunningly fragrant hydrangeas and peonies bursting into bloom.

Désirée Fleurs

A café-fleuriste that champions local and seasonal blooms, Désirée Fleurs is the brainchild of Audrey Venant and Mathilde Bignon. Their mission centers on sustainability, offering bouquets composed of 100% French-grown flowers. Beyond floral arrangements, they provide kits for urban gardening, allowing Parisians to cultivate their own green spaces, and hold weekend flower arranging classes — accompanied by a selection of drinks, cakes and snacks from their café.

Debeaulieu

For upmarket, designer bouquets that will wow any recipient, head over to Debeaulieu in Paris’ South Pigalle, another floral favorite of the fashion world. One of the most cutting-edge florists in Paris, this futuristic boutique was crafted with graphics, mirrors and clean lines to maximize the visual impact of its stunning arrangements, which are presented to visitors on white pedestals. Debeaulieu handles its
metier with the utmost of care, creating magnificent, bespoke offerings with blends of classic, rare and “forgotten” flowers, and even the occasional unexpected object (the shop also offers unique high-end homeware).

Nestled in the heart of the 1st arrondissement is Maison Vertumne, one of our favorite florists in Paris. The shop’s made-to-order floral arrangements, which are created in rhythm with the seasons, are composed of carefully-selected seasonal blooms from strictly local suppliers. From the bunches’ unique, whimsical compositions down to their original vases, you can trust the breathtaking bouquets of Maison Vertumne to be made with incredible attention to detail.

ArĂ´m

At ArĂ´m – another one of the best florists in Paris – customization is their pleasure. Filled with rows and rows of lush blooms, this charming, old-fashioned florist – which could easily fool you for an antique curiosity shop – is one that truly cares about your desires. Be prepared for a member of the staff to ask for your preference of colors, flowers, style, and – a rarity – your budget. Not sure of what you want? ArĂ´m’s intuition is unparalleled – they’ll subtly guide you with leading questions in order to create the bouquet your heart desires. One of the best florists in Paris with an unrivaled customer service, too.

L’Arrosoir

With over a century of experience, L’Arrosoir continues to impress with its fantastic floral creations. Featured in our September/October 2024 issue, it’s evident that the current American expat owner Adrienne Ryser likes to stay in touch with nature. In the shop, most of the flowers featured are what is currently in-season from smaller producers as opposed to options from the bigger wholesale markets. She successfully keeps the authentic and fresh spirit of the historic business. Read more about L’Arrosoir in the magazine.
