The Best French Advent Calendar
In 2021, our small team filled the first My French Country Home Noël Advent Calendar with 12 French gifts for Francophiles around the world. After receiving rave reviews, we increased the collection to 24 gifts and haven’t turned back!
This December marks the box’s sixth anniversary, and each year the calendar has grown, along with our circle of French brands we love and trust.
Choosing the 24 pieces has become one of our favorite projects of the year, knowing that the smiles will last on the recipients’ faces all month long. This year’s edition is almost ready to be wrapped and shipped, and pre-orders are now open.
The Season We Wait For All Year
Work on each calendar starts months before the first box ships. We meet with brands, try their products ourselves, and narrow a long list of favorites down to 24, mixing fashion accessories, artisanal delicacies, beauty products, and home decor so that each day brings a different surprise.

Every piece comes from a French brand we know and trust. Over five editions, these partnerships have become one of the best parts of the project: each year we return to makers we admire and add a few new names we can’t wait to introduce.
The moment we look forward to most comes in December, when the boxes reach your homes and the daily unwrapping begins. For 24 days, each numbered gift brings a piece of French art de vivre into your home for the holiday season.
Back to its Classic Form with Original Wrapping
Last year, the calendar arrived as a box of drawers, each one hiding a gift. Our clients loved it, but this year we have returned to the format that started it all: a large white keepsake box holding 24 full-size gifts, each one numbered and wrapped by hand in original wrapping paper designed by Sharon Santoni
2022 MFCH Noël Advent Calendar
The gorgeous box is practically another gift in and of itself. Once the last gift is opened, it can be used again to store ornaments when the tree comes down, or to keep letters, photographs, and other mementos safe all year. And if you’re careful, even the wrapping paper can be saved and used again!
Inside This Year’s Calendar
Unlike most Advent calendars which typically include small sample items, ours holds full-size products, with a combined value of more than $1,000 USD. This year’s selection includes refined fashion accessories, artisanal delicacies, beauty products, and home decor, each carefully chosen by our small team of women in France. The contents stay a surprise until you open them, but we can share two of the French brands who have joined for this edition…

The brothers set themselves one goal: to paint every fish and crustacean they encounter on their travels, a project that has led to a world of inspiration. Every material they use for their creations, including wood, paper, enamel, and textile, is chosen for its quality and its origin. Their pieces are made in France wherever possible, and by European makers when not.

Paradisio Imaginarium
Paradisio Imaginarium is the work of two creators, Emmanuelle and Mikaël, who craft decor and objects inspired by the archives of the decorative arts: antique botanical drawings, historic motifs, and the accounts of 18th- and 19th-century explorers. Through their creative minds and talented hands, fragments of history are restyled into something new.

Their illustrations are printed in France on museum-quality fine art paper, and the house has collaborated with the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. We are thrilled to bring a piece of their imaginative world into your home this Christmas. Learn more about Paradisio Imaginarium here.
Good to Know Before You Order
Pre-orders are open now, and boxes begin shipping in mid-November so they arrive in time for all 24 days of December. Worldwide tariffs and base shipping are included. Orders to Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Japan, South Korea, the UAE, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Chile, and Uruguay carry an additional $35 fee.
Because of the calendar’s limited quantities and value, discount codes do not apply. All sales are final once your box arrives, and we are unable to offer returns, exchanges, refunds, or replacements for damaged boxes. For the full list of contents, write to us at contact@mfchbox.com.
